Pre-sale preparation of a diesel generator is the key to its reliable operation and comfortable use.

1. External inspection and verification of equipment

• checking the body, frame, fastenings, and absence of mechanical damage;
• confirmation of complete equipment: documents, tools, battery, automation (ATS), cables, etc.

2. Engine preparation

• filling or checking the engine oil level;
• filling with coolant (if applicable);
• checking the fuel system: pipes, filters, hoses.

3. Preparation of electrical components

• checking the generator (alternator), its connections and insulation;
• testing the voltage regulator;
• checking the start/stop automation.

4. Checking the battery

• charge and performance of the battery;

5. Commissioning (idle start)
